About Me
I Strive to Understand the Why Before Creating Solutions
I specialise in turning behavioural complexity to product clarity by combining empathy, precision, and stakeholder alignment. Currently, I hold the role of a Senior UX Researcher at Aleph-Labs, delivering end-to-end studies across public, healthcare, and enterprise platforms in Singapore and APAC.
I focus on driving a grounded, hypothesis-driven research practice and a deep curiosity about how culture, context, and motivation intersect to shape behaviour and inform product strategy. I shape experiences to be human-centred, and constantly evolving with behavioural patterns.
"What stands out most about Lydia is her relentless curiosity and independent thinking. She doesn’t just run research—she probes, forms her own hypotheses, and constantly sharpens her lens. Rather than defaulting to consensus or leaning on senior voices, Lydia shows the discipline to think for herself—a rare and essential trait in high-impact researchers. Lydia is on a clear upward trajectory and is becoming a researcher others will look to for guidance. I look forward to seeing her apply the thoughtful, self-driven insight leadership that’s already made her a practitioner I want on my side."
- Chief Experience Officer
"Lydia does not shy away from trying to better herself— whether it is re-watching recordings of her interviews or looking out for new skills to pick up, she makes the effort to continuously improve, and it is this spirit that will take her through even further growth. I look forward to seeing the impact she will make on the people around her in the near future."
- Design Lead
"Through working with Lydia, I have witnessed how she is a competent researcher who takes responsibility and ownership over her work, always seeking to push for a good research ethic. She also goes above and beyond her role to ensure that the project is handled smoothly."
- Senior UX/UI Designer
"When I first onboarded the project, Lydia was very patient and clear in explaining what the project was about and highlighting key information that enabled me to quickly gather some context about the project and where I would fit in. She would promptly clarify with users on areas the team may have issues with and help us progress forward as smoothly as possible. "
